EnclaveX launch brings fully encrypted, cross-chain futures trading to retail investors

Enclave Markets has announced the launch of EnclaveX, the first permissionless and fully encrypted exchange (FEX). The perpetual futures exchange will allow and trader with a non-sanctioned wallet to get access to fully-encrypted trading, as well as deep liquidity pools, advanced execution tools, and cross-chain trading. How does it achieve this level of encryption? The platform has decentralized its core operations, dividing them between a network of independent attestors. This guarantees that no single participant can control the trading environment. Regarding the launch of EnclaveX, Enclave Marketes Chief Executive Officer (CEO) David Wells stated: “The future of trading isn’t just on-chain – it’s encrypted, high-performance, and permissionless. We’re putting professional-grade execution in the hands of every trader while maintaining the exceptional performance that has made Enclave the platform of choice for serious traders.” The EnclaveX lau...

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse says the company is “very close” to launching its own dollar-pegged stablecoin on the XRP Ledger. During a fireside chat at the Korea Blockchain Week in Seoul, South Korea, Garlinghouse said that the stablecoin has been in a “closed beta” stage. “We will certainly launch soon,” he said. ”Weeks, not months.” USDC’s Depeg Opened Up An Opportunity Ripple’s stablecoin will be called Ripple USD and trade under the ticker symbol RLUSD. Garlinghouse said that plans for the company to launch its own dollar-backed stablecoin were set in motion after USD Coin (USDC), which is the second largest stablecoin in terms of market cap, lost its peg to the dollar in March last year. Ripple’s unique position in the market and connections to multiple financial institutions led to the company’s executives identifying USDC’s brief disconnect to the dollar as an opportunity to enter the stablecoin ...

Bitcoin price derivatives look a bit overheated, but data suggests bears are outnumbered

Bullish BTC traders are using excessive leverage, but bears’ reluctance to fight back could extend the current Bitcoin price rally. Bitcoin (BTC) price rallied over 12% on Feb. 15, marking the highest daily close in more than six months. Curiously, the movement happened while gold reached a 40-day low at $1,826, indicating some potential shift in investors' risk assessment for cryptocurrencies. A stronger than expected U.S. inflation report on Feb. 14 presented 5.6% growth year-over-year, followed by data showing resilient consumer demand caused traders to rethink Bitcoin's scarcity value. U.S. retail sales increased by 3% in January versus the previous month — the highest gain in almost two years. On-chain data indicates that the recent gains can be traced back to a mysterious institutional investor that started buying on Feb. 10. According to Lookonchain's data, nearly $1.6 billion in funds have flowed into the crypto market between Feb. 10 and Feb. 15. The analysis sh...
